About two-thirds of Americans don't have a written will. A will is important for everyone, young and old, single or married, with children or without. It can make a very difficult time just a little bit easier for your family should the unexpected happen. Most people realize the importance of having a will or living trust, but there never seems to be a good time to locate a trusted attorney, schedule an appointment and travel to the attorney's office. We can help you update an existing will or trust or create a new one, conveniently and comfortably in your own home or office.
Probate and Estate Administration
There is enough to deal with after a loved one passes. The next steps are often unclear. Let us guide you through the Probate process. Whether you are dealing with a Will needing to be probated, a trust administration outside of the traditional court process or a case where the decedent did not have a Will, we will discuss your options, determine the least expensive method available and assist you through the process. We are often hired to handle the legal work necessary to administer an estate so that our clients have the time and energy to focus on what matters during a difficult time, their family and loved ones.
As the executor under a will or the trustee of a trust, there are many legal and fiduciary obligations that you are required to fulfill. You cannot do it on your own. Our job, as the attorney for the estate representative or trustee, is to keep you in compliance with the law and help you settle the estate in a timely and straightforward manner.
Corporate and Partnership
There are many things to review when attempting to establish a new business entity. The selection and formation of a new business should preferably be done with the assistance and legal advice from an attorney. With adequate legal counsel regarding your goals for your business, the correct type of business structure can be determined. Whether you are forming a partnership, are a sole proprietor, or wish to establish a corporation, we can assist you with determining the appropriate legal structure.
Depending on your type of business, there can be a variety of business entities that will be right for you. A small business owner working out of his/her home without employees may simply need to be structured as a sole proprietorship. A somewhat larger business with employees and an office may need to protect assets and be taxed appropriately as a corporation, either an S Corp or C Corp. In some situations, a Limited Liability Company (LLC) is the best choice.

OUR ATTORNEYS
GARY F. MANSKER
Gary Mansker attended Baylor University in Waco, Texas and received his B.B.A. in Accounting in 1964 and his J.D. in 1966. He was licensed by the State Bar of Texas in 1966. Mr. Mansker is board certified in Estate Planning and Probate Law and Tax Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
Mr. Mansker's practice focuses on Estate Planning, Probate, Trust and Business Law. He has provided legal counsel and advice to thousands of clients in Corpus Christi and the coastal bend. In addition to Nueces County, Mr. Mansker regularly and continuously represents clients in San Patricio, Aransas, Bee, Jim Wells, Live Oak and Zapata counties.
Mr. Mansker is originally from Beeville, Texas, and is the managing and general partner of the Mansker family ranch. He oversees cattle operations, coastal hay maintenance, native and exotic wildlife management, oil and gas and pipeline leasing and operations, and wind lease management.
He and his wife, Susie, have four children and eight grandchildren.

CLAYTON G. MANSKER
Clay Mansker attended The University of Texas at Austin and received his B.B.A. in Finance in 1998. During his time at UT, Mr. Mansker played football for the Longhorns, lettering and serving as a team game captain in 1997. He obtained his J.D. from St. Mary’s University School of Law and was licensed by the State Bar of Texas in 2003.
His practice focuses on Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Administration. Mr. Mansker has provided legal counsel and advice to hundreds of clients in San Antonio, Spring Branch, Bulverde, Boerne and the surrounding areas. In addition to Bexar County, Mr. Mansker regularly represents clients in Comal, Kendall, Karnes and Guadalupe counties.
Mr. Mansker grew up in Portland, Texas and is actively involved in the family ranching business, assisting with Angus cattle operations, coastal hay maintenance, native and exotic wildlife management, oil and gas operations and wind lease management.
He and his wife, Jenny, have three daughters.
